The follow up the the eponymous debut ep was this “mini-album.” White Gazebo finds the Bobs forging new sounds and more thoughtful (read: mature) songwriting without the presence of original Bob Bobby Tak. We don't know why or where Tak left, we only know he reappears several years later, as evidenced by our Bob Went Bad release. We do know that John Galway allowed the band to seamlessly transition into an evolved unit.
Although not a concept album by any means, there does seem to be a nautical/water theme that runs throughout the songs here. Green & Red, Waterline, Mom& Dad, White Gazebo, and all of Permanent Vacation are water, water everywhere. The publishing co. is even Floating Fishsongs.
Also included on this disc are four songs from The Bobs appearance at the Polish American Club. These recordings predate the White Gazebo release, but feature Pete Moss as special guest drummer.

Safety Net Records informs us that official Bobs reissues are in the works. Therefore this title is not available for sale. Please contact us for future info about official Safety Net reissues of The Bobs.
