Cool, quirky rhythms and lyrics, combined with advanced musicianship made The Bobs a standout band on the scene. Drummer Bobby Tak, having cut his teeth with local heroes The Cichlids, joined Bob Rupe and Kevin MacIvor to make this three-piece an excellent new wave (for that was the word at the time) band. This edition combines The Bobs first e.p. with the rare live cassette “In Public” to present the original band as they were. A later album (White Gazebo) although excellent in its own right, lacked Tak on drums and made for a less Bobs-like Experience.
