Having lost none of the aggressive, in-your-face attack demonstrated by the release of The Danger Is Here cassette album four years previous, this disc catches up with F at an interesting moment of their history.
Pete Moss' first band was Chaos, the group that eventually became F. They formed at Stranahan High School in 1978, continuing through to the beginning of the 80s.When F first surfaced in 1984, the band consisted of Flash backed by Pete. Playing everything.
So here, four more years later and Pete's on drums while on bass is Michael Chatham, the original bassist for Chaos. So you wouldn't be far wrong to say that Moss and Chatham had played together near continuously (with Chaos, Spanish Dogs, Cult Heroes, Stan Still Dance Band, etc) for the last ten years. This was truly a rhythm section to be reckoned with. And with Flash sharing a similar lineage, the loose, instinctive, sometimes telepathic interplay within the band live is striking.

The first three tracks are studio demos, including “I Saw Your Vision” a song that appeared not only on The Danger Is Here, but dates back to Chaos in the late 70s. The live songs originally appeared as studio recordings on a number of F cassette releases.
