Here's a right gem that we're proud to feature. Boise (Bob) & (Pete) Moss were an stripped-down acoustic duo (basically one guitar and two singers). The songs were catchy and more than a little idiosyncratic.
When they entered the studio to record this album, they decided to flesh out their sound with the addition of drums, bass, banjo etc, all played by Pete Moss. The one notable exception is Bob Wlos, owner and engineeer of the Famous L7 studios, laying down his signature pedal steel sound.
Equal parts early NRBQ, The Carter Family, Dr. Demento and Otis the Frog Boy, Chicken Fried Steak is a lost classic now found.
