Released in 1985, Florida Explosion collected some the best of the current Floridsa Punk scene, with a dollop of local Punk history and a side of underground rock‘n’ roll. Ecclectic in content and massive in scope, the original cassette format was no doubt frustrating for those whose tastes were more narrow.
Like so many such projects, Florida Explosion was a labor of love for the late Rick Lennick. We’re pleased to be able to resurrect this chunk of noise for those who remember, those who forgot, and those who might need some none-too-gentle reminding.
