There's more than one starting point for the South Florida punk scene, but here's a big one--Bobby Tak and Debbie DeNeese met in high school. Tak goes to Boston and discovers punk, then comes back to Fort Lauderdale. Debbie plays in a cover band until she is "discovered" by Robert Mascaro. Robert meets Bobby Tak at a club, and Tak becomes the second piece of the classic Cichlids line-up. We still feel the concussion from the explosions that followed.

So I guess an argument could be made that Bobby Tak was there almost from the very beginning, and he's still here. And he kept some stuff, and now you can look at it. Thank you Bobby.
